Little loop from my movie

I uploaded the loop with a long unused tail. (I uploaded the sequence instead of the workspace.)  I went in to correct it today but all the machines were rendering something and the connections were too slow to use. Actually I did upload the loop but part of it shows ‘image not found’ …. a connection speed problem again perhaps. I will correct it next week and link it to a longer (but rapidly getting shorter as I improve it) version of my movie.

Note: since I have now successfully uploaded another small ‘loop’ bit of my movie I am deleting this one. I had several loops I could have used.

Making our movie

Our group had a lot of fun shooting this movie and in addition I learned a good deal about shooting a movie, even though ours was not very long.  We all had a go at shooting and acting and being the ‘clapper board’ and when we loaded it onto our x drives it was a collaborative effort. It was the blind leading the blind really, but we got it sorted in the end.

I have also learned quite a bit by trying to edit what we shot. One of the things I learned is that for a ‘real’ movie the story board must be crucial.  As with so many things, time spent in the planning pays in the end. Our story board had room for individual ‘takes’ of the story … but in addition, because we were all learners we ended up with quite a lot of material that would have been deleted if it had been shot by professionals but which we might find useful. (In a sort of ‘bloopers’ movie.)
