The class discussion about my movie made me think more about the Bill Henson photos.
The issue is not an easy one. My views have changed a bit after reading the article on the art life that discusses Henson’s early photos and the art world’s reaction to them. These early photos do not seem to me to be the work of a disinterested observer so I have become a bit queasy about the rest of his work.
